We base our educational courses on the years of practical experiences and skills that we have refined over many years of training. This is what makes Fitnance unique amongst other RTO's. We teach you the methods and science we have used to train the best; including the Broncos, Wallabies, Reds, Cowboys, Fulham FC, Leeds Rhinos etc. Our courses are very practical and are based on proven methods and techniques. How have Fitnance graduates fared in the industry? Fitnance graduates are held in high regard within the fitness industry and hence get some excellent jobs in the industry. Some of our graduates achievements include: Establishing Crossfit in Australia, establishing Nation Wide Gym Chains, Establishing successful niche gyms, Head Coaches at NRL franchises, Head Strength and Conditioning Coaches at NRL Teams, Olympic Gold Medallists, etc. Advice/ insights for new PTs/ new graduates? I have 3 tips for PT graduates: 1) Train hard and train regularly: I think it is very important to practice what you preach. I.e. You need to train regularly yourself (and experiment regularly yourself ) to understand what you are making your clients do. This is one of the best learning methods. 2) Communication: Be a good communicator in particular a good listener. Being able to communicate with your clients/allied health practitioners is an essential skill in PT and life. 3) No ego: Leave your ego at the door. PT / Strength and Conditioning is about helping your clients, not about a trainers ego. Ego only gets in the road of effective training.
