Goodlife Announces Purchase of Fenix Fitness

by Greg Oliver (CEO Goodlife Health Clubs)

Goodlife Announces Purchase of Fenix Fitness On Wednesday 12th September, Goodlife Health Clubs announced it had reached an agreement to acquire Fenix Fitness.

The purchase will see Goodlife acquire eight premium fitness clubs in Victoria and two in Queensland, with  approximately 35,773 members. There are two additional Victorian clubs in the development stage, including Fountain Gate (Vic) due to open soon. The site locations in Melbourne include Karingal, Hoppers Crossing, Geelong, Mooroolbark, Taylors Lakes, Point Cook, Coburg and Chelsea Heights. The Gold Coast clubs (Qld) include Nerang and Robina.

The anticipated completion date is the end of October.

Right now members don't need to do anything. Fenix Fitness clubs will continue to operate as normal with a transition to Goodlife Health Clubs over the next  few months. Fenix Fitness members and staff will see very little change or disruption. We are pleased to share there will be reciprocal visitation rights between Fenix Fitness and Goodlife Health Clubs. A great additional benefit for all members! Details will be confirmed after settlement.

In this time of change, we understand Fenix members may have some questions regarding their club and circumstances around their membership. We have developed an information line 1800 059 077 to help answer any initial enquiries.

We look forward to working with the new clubs and continuing to provide outstanding service to our members.Â
